Kids History Day at the Museum discusses Colonial Foods, Games, Prizes

Posted

Bethel Historical Society and Museum presents this FREE event on the third Saturday of each month from 1:00 to 4:00pm.

The focus is different for each month. October’s event will focus on Colonial Foods and November’s event will look at the major Revolutionary War heroes and battles.

Each child that attends gets a prize that day and they can put their name in for the Grand Prize Drawing. They can also give us some input on what should go into our time capsule. The Grand Prize will be given away December 5th during our ‘Down Home Christmas’ celebration. That’s also when we’ll be closing our time capsule and it will not be opened again until we celebrate America’s Tricentennial (300th anniversary) in 2076. Plan your visits to the museum so that your kids and/or grandkids don’t miss these final Kids History Events!

Free fun, games, and prizes -Membership is not required - America 250th Themed: Attend for entry in the Grand Prize drawing on Dec. 5, 2026.
