What if good news was the norm, not the exception?

Connect Clermont is striving to make that possibility real.

Too often, the stories that rise to the surface are the most devastating. But we believe there’s more to tell. By bringing people, ideas, and resources together, Connect Clermont ensures the good happening across our county isn’t hidden or isolated, but connected and strengthened. It takes community, connection, and a spirit of collaboration to move us toward a better future.

Our Mission

is to connect people, ideas, and resources to move Clermont County forward by supporting bold ideas, amplifying community voices, and helping residents of all ages live well and lead with purpose.

Our Purpose

is to illuminate a brighter future for Clermont County by bringing our community’s best ideas, stories, and people together to make good things happen.

Our Story

Connect Clermont was built on a simple but powerful belief: when neighbors come together around a shared vision, our community thrives.

In 1988, Clermont County leadership convened in a community-wide conversation about the future. Volunteers drafted a report that called on residents, businesses, and elected officials to pursue key economic development and quality-of-life improvements over the coming decade.

By 2012, these conversations continued in churches, conference rooms, and kitchen tables, resulting in Clermont’s Agenda For The Future – 2014, with goals that aimed to improve:

  • Economic opportunities
  • Transportation
  • Park and Recreation
  • Community Vibrancy
  • Lifelong Learning
  • Health & Wellness
  • Housing

As the effort transitioned from planning to implementation, it became clear that a dedicated structure was necessary to sustain the community’s momentum. Connect Clermont was formed as the means to achieve that structure.

Today, we look for opportunities to infuse our community with the resources it needs for a brighter future. Through Good News, Good Works, and Good Deeds, we continue to inform, engage, and activate our proud Clermont Community.
