2025 Salute to Leaders, Clermont Chamber of Commerce;
Doug Driese was nominated by Pierce Township for a Salute to Leader's Community Award. His award reads:
“Doug Driese began working with the all-volunteer Pierce Township Parks & Greenspace Committee in 2015.
In those 10 years of service, Doug has volunteered countless hours working on park maintenance and events. The committee is working to improve the parks and offer more events for residents. Doug works with the committee to offer events like Park Fest, Concerts in the Park, Movie Nights in the Park, and the annual Easter Egg Hunt.
They also recommend park improvements, including Clean Up Days, securing a grant for new playground equipment, creating a dog park, redoing the baseball field, paving walking paths, expanding the hiking trails, creating shade structures over benches, and adding a stage and restroom facility to the park.
Over the years Doug has volunteered countless hours to the Pierce Township Parks and Greenspace Committee. From park maintenance to massive events like ParkFest and Concerts in the Park. Doug is always there to lend a hand.”
We join in celebrating his leadership and volunteerism, We Salute You Doug!
