The annual Mt. Moriah Cemetery Lantern Lighting Ceremony is Saturday, September 19th from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. This free community event offers a unique evening of beauty and remembrance.
You and your family are invited to prepare a personalized lantern by inscribing your own words of love and remembrance. You may wish to personalize your lantern by bringing pictures of your loved ones. Following a complimentary dinner to soothing music, we will gather at the pond to light the candles. The lanterns will be placed on the pond to carry their messages of love and remembrance..
Additional parking is available across the street at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church and a shuttle will be available. For questions or more information please call the Union Township’s cemetery office at 513. 752.1773.
