Bethel America 250 Festival & Parade

Friday, July 10, from 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

 

Burke Park and Uptown Bethel are hosting a weekend of America 250 celebrations! Over 80 vendors and food trucks will participate throughout the weekend. Other activities include a cookie contest, karate demonstration, petting zoo, and an indigenous peoples demonstration. 

 

Plan for a picnic in the park to kick things off. A free shuttle service will be available, brought to you by Bethel-Tate Schools. You can follow the website for more information about the event.

 

 

America the Beautiful Art Gallery featuring Aaron Strait

Friday, July 10, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

 

America the Beautiful Art Gallery will be on display Friday through Sunday at the Loveland American Legion, with a portion of proceeds benefiting local veteran families with disabilities. The event will also feature works from Aaron Strait's Art for Autism project. 

 

Daily raffle baskets and a coloring table enhance the event for the entire family. Come celebrate your patriotism while supporting a noble cause! No RSVP required.

 

Children of Eden Jr.

Friday, July 10, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

 

The Loveland Stage Company will be debuting Children of Eden Jr., an innovative musical retelling of the first nine chapters of the Book of Genesis. The performance showcases musical acts and storytelling, centered around themes of family, faith, and forgiveness. Arrangements are brought to you by Music Theatre International.

Floyd & The Walkmen at David's Kitchen & Bar

The party just started! If you're in the mood for some high-energy music and dancing, stop in to David's Kitchen & Bar this Friday evening. Local favorites Floyd & The Walkmen will be performing another set of classic covers and engaging banter.

History & Museum Day

Clermont County makes history every day, but you can explore some of the last century's coolest historical artifacts and exhibits jam-packed in one exciting weekend. Use the Clermont County History & Museum Passport to gain access to numerous participating locations, including Ulysses S. Grant's birthplace in Point Pleasant, the Harmony Hill Museum, the Bethel Historical Society, and more!

Ulysses S. Grant will give two speeches

Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

President Grant comes to life this Saturday with two 30-minute speeches by professional impersonator Dr. Curt Fields. Relive history with friends and family during this free event. Seating is limited, so plan to arrive early at the second floor of the Bethel Historical Society & Museum.

 

A Q&A session will be available after the speeches conclude. 

 

Williamsburg Garden Tour

Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

With all the hustle and bustle this weekend, it's nice to enjoy an outing at your own pace. Take a self-guided tour of some of Williamsburg's most charming gardens and floral displays. 

 

These aren't just your average run-of-the-mill gardens either; two of the featured locations won the Cincinnati Horticulture Society Award, and another is significant by its inclusion in the National Park System's Underground Railroad Network to Freedom.

 

Buy your pre-sale tickets at 285 West Main Street or 320 West Main Street to beat the line. Harmony Hill will also sell tickets on the day of the event. The tour will go on, rain or shine!

 

Quilt and Woodcarvers Show

Nazarene Church has been tirelessly at work to create a spotlight for quiltmakers and woodcarvers. Come celebrate these incredible artisans and see some of their incredible products. You'll learn about the materials, processes, and challenges from the region's best.

Beard Contest

Saturday, July 11, starting at 4 p.m.

 

You know them, you love them; the Cincinnati Beard Barons are back at Plane Street Coffee House for the America 250 Beard Contest. Anyone with fantastic facial hair can register on the day of the event. Seven categories are included, so don't miss out on your opportunity to show off your stache! 

 

The Cincinnati Beard Barons describe themselves as a charitable community that helps wherever they can. Come talk to these beard enthusiasts to learn more about their mission and upcoming events. 

 

Sycamore Community Band & Outdoor Movie Night

Saturday, July 11, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

 

Join the Sycamore Community Band for an unforgettable outdoor concert event this weekend! The band will be performing the iconic music of Star Wars, alongside patriotic classics. Organizers encourage guests to stay after the performance for a special outdoor screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. 

 

Pack your own lawn chairs or blankets for the most comfortable viewing experience. The Miami Township Recreation Department will provide updates on other activities, food trucks, and drink options closer to the event.

Fins Up - A Jimmy Buffett Tribute!

Sunday, July 12, from 3:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

 

Little Miami Brewing Company will be hosting another Sunday Night Summer Social event this Sunday. Doors open in the afternoon, and food will be available throughout the performance. This week, you can enjoy the music of "Fins Up!", a Jimmy Buffett Tribute band.

Admission to the event is $20 per person. Food and beverages will be available ala carte. This is your chance to experience some of the best summer vibes Clermont has to offer!
