Chick-fil-A Eastgate's 1st Annual Community Wellness Day

Friday, September 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

Chick-fil-A in Eastgate recently partnered with Connect Clermont, and we’re thrilled about their efforts to advance health and betterment in our neighborhood.
 
 
They’ll host their very first annual Community Wellness Day to promote public health and safety. Families can check out vendor booths run by first responders, nonprofits, and healthcare providers, among others. 
 
 
This is a family-friendly event, so children can pick up a Wellness Passport and collect stamps at many of the fun activities around the parking lot. They can also see what it’s like inside a fire truck and ambulance. Community resources and giveaways will be available throughout the event.

 

Grant Career Center Lunch and Learn

Friday, September 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

 

The Grant Career Center aims to improve the future and opportunities of local Clermont residents. Join Superintendent Mike Parry and Treasurer Kelley Sininger this Friday to learn what’s new and what’s coming.

 

This is a great opportunity to participate in civic discussions, ask questions, and hear about the exciting work taking place across the district.

 

Food and beverages will be available.

 

 

Felicity Gourd & Harvest Festival

Friday, September 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

 

Autumn is upon us! What better way to kick off the season than by checking out the parade and festivities at the Felicity Gourd & Harvest Festival? 
 
 
The event hopes to reinforce Clermont’s strong sense of community and provide opportunities to meet new people.
 
 
The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. Kids’ inflatables, craft booths, beer vendors, and a scarecrow contest will be available throughout the evening. The celebration continues for its second day on Saturday.

 

Night Hike: 'Possums and Pawpaws

Friday, September 18, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

 

Some people love them, some people hate them, but opossums are part of everyday (or rather, every night) life here in Clermont County. Learn about the significance of these nocturnal creatures by joining the Clermont Park District this Friday for its naturalist after–dark hike.

 

You’ll enter the Wilson Nature Preserve and hike about 2.5 miles round trip to the pawpaw-covered island across the famous suspension bridge.

 

If you find ripe pawpaws, you can keep a few to eat! Just be sure to leave enough for the real opossums who depend on them.

 

This hike is ideal for ages 8 and older.

 

History & Museum Day across Clermont OH Communities

Saturday, September 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Believe it or not, Clermont County makes history every day. Discover Clermont is hosting a museum day to honor that history across the entire community!
 
 
Explore local museums, historic sites, special exhibits, and family-friendly activities throughout the County.
 
 
This event is an extension of Clermont’s America 250 commemoration happening throughout the year. It’s the perfect excuse to gather the family and learn about the area’s hidden gems and memorable past.
 
 
Pick up a copy of the Clermont County History & Museum Passport to gain access to participating locations. Completionists can collect stamps at multiple venues, keeping a record of their stops.
 
 
Featured Sites include: Ulysses S. Grant Birthplace in Point Pleasant, the Harmony Hill Museum, the Bethel Historical Society, the Chilo Lock 34 River Museum, and more...

 

Touch-A-Truck

Saturday, September 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Here’s a special event for all those trucking, car, and construction enthusiasts! Visit Pierce Township’s Spencer Shank Park to see trucks of all shapes and sizes. The first hour accommodates children with special needs who can enjoy hands-on experiences with each vehicle.

Warbird Flying Showcase

Saturday, September 19, starting at 2:30 p.m.

 

Look up! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s… oh, it actually is a plane.
 
 
The Tri-State Warbird Museum proudly presents the Warbird Flying Showcase happening on September 19.  This year’s Festival of Warbirds will showcase more than ten restored WWII aircraft, honoring veterans' memory and the strength of American innovation.
 
 
Food truck and beverage stations will be on-site so that you can get the most out of this aerial display.
 
 
The museum recommends bringing folding chairs and blankets to watch the show from the lawn.

Mt. Moriah Cemetery Lantern Lighting Ceremony

Saturday, September 19, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

 

The annual Mt. Moriah Cemetery Lantern Lighting Ceremony is a free commemoration of beauty and remembrance.
 
 
You and your family can prepare a personalized lantern by inscribing your own words of love and healing. Bring pictures of your loved ones to honor their life. Following a complimentary dinner, participants will gather at the pond to light the candles. 
 
 
The lanterns will carry their messages across the pond. 
 
 
Mt. Moriah Cemetery will provide the lanterns and supplies during the event.

Sunset on the River

Saturday, September 19, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

 

Looking for a romantic evening out this weekend? Join the Clermont Park District to experience the beautiful sunset over the Ohio River.

 

Guided tours and light refreshments will be available throughout the park. Families can also play games and explore activities as the sun sets.

Whiskey & Whiskers

Saturday, September 19, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

 

Whiskey & Whiskers is a fundraiser for the League for Animal Welfare. This event rallies more than 300 animal lovers to raise critical funds for lifesaving work!

 

Join the organization for food, music, live and silent auctions, games, and more!

BoltzStrong September Kids Class: Mezzes

Sunday, September 20, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Cooking is a fundamental skill that all children should know as they grow older. Mezzes offers a hands-on adaptive cooking class where kids explore simple, flavorful small plates they can customize and enjoy.

 

By registering for this event, you help BoltzStrong create inclusive spaces where kids living with disabilities can build skills and independence through their craft.
